These Milton Park homes were designed in the 1980’s by Phillip Cox. They are lovely simple designs that when renovated and extended need to be done with sensitivity and respect for the original architect’s design. This renovation has given this villa a new lease on life. One of the best features was the restoration of the fireplace column in the centre of the home, exposing the normally hidden mechanism of the new Cheminee Philippe fireplace – such a great sculptural element. Above the existing firewood storage a new niche was created to house the very special sculptural pots, precious art pieces so loved by the owner. A new entry, kitchen, new bathroom fitouts and a meditation nook in the new dormer round out this wonderful renovation.
