Large Renovation & New Gatehouse in Mittagong

The existing home is a three story gabled structure with a very high-pitched roofline. It was important for the additions to the home to maintain this substantial design element as the central feature. The existing part of the house was virtually re-built with new materials for the walls and roof, a wider, more generous and exquisitely detailed verandah wrapping around and a new layout inside. Added to the building is a wing housing a luxurious home cinema, a salubrious library with a fireplace, a conservatory room and a large laundry, linking through to a new ‘gatehouse’ with a four car garage below and guest accommodation above. The entire house has been tastefully furnished with interior designers contributing from both Australia and London, and highly skilled craftsman creating the new entry staircase and all the beautiful joinery throughout the home.
