Project Description

The owners of this old Bowral home wanted to add a glass conservatory room that could flow easily from the house out to different parts of this well-established and beautiful garden. The conservatory room has become an integral part of the daytime living area of the house in all seasons, warm and cosy around the fireplace in the winter and bright, sunny and airy in the summer. A large deck with a pergola is accessed to the northern side of the house via three sets of traditionally detailed French doors, and access to the new western deck is shared by the living room and the conservatory. The coffered ceiling in the conservatory is a particularly special feature of the project.
