Kathy Barnsley knows the Southern Highlands well, having practiced in the area since 1991. She and her team are dedicated to providing outstanding one-on-one architectural services for the whole of the Highlands and beyond. Kathy’s professional experience and practice is varied, encompassing new homes, alterations & additions to existing homes. heritage and small commercial projects.
Above all, Kathy respects her clients’ needs, desires and budget, working together with them to arrive at a solution. She listens to her clients and works closely with them to pass on the benefit of her experience, gained both in Australia and in the USA where she was born and raised. Kathy is an attentive, enthusiastic and approachable professional, well known for her attention to detail and to her clients. She offers a sensitive approach to design, regardless of the size of the project, giving her clients the best hands-on professional service.

Kathy has been a practising architect in the Southern Highlands since 1991. She started her own architectural consultancy in 1998.
- 1989: Bachelor of Architecture, Syracuse University, New York, USA.
- Chartered and registered architect in Australia since 1995.
- Member of the Australian Institute of Architects since 1995, the Association of Consulting Architects since 2017 and the Regional Architecture Association since 2021.
- Founding board member of the Southern Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Industry from 2013 to 2014, and executive committee member of the Moss Vale Chamber of Commerce from 2004 to 2014.
- Experience in architectural consulting firms in the USA and Southern Highlands, Australia.

Lisa worked for three different architectural design companies as a CAD operator/draftsperson from 1999 before joining the KBA team in 2010.
- 2001: Certificate IV in Graphic Design Foundation.
- 2000: Certificate in Photoshop 6+.
- 1998: Diploma in Architectural Technology.
