Project Description
A part of the residential development designed by leading architect Philip Cox in the 1980s, this villa desperately needed a renovation. The centrepiece of the project is the fireplace element, a floating feature dividing the living room from the dining room. The owner is an artist and required a display niche for her special pottery. The old Jetmaster firebox was removed and replaced with a Cheminee, installed in a niche with its workings exposed, creating another sculptural element. A new kitchen, a new upstairs dormer window and a new internal colour scheme finishes off this elegant villa.
