Project Description
A tired 1980s home in Bundanoon needed significant renovation. Located on a sloping site, some rooms had been added by a previous DIY owner, and needed to be re-built to control dampness and water ingress. The new owners wanted access to the lower level for everyone, so while a new two storey addition was added to the side of the building, a lift was also installed. The separate garage was re-constructed as an addition to the front of the house to provide all weather access, and to create a new deck/ courtyard behind. A new first floor covered deck at the rear overlooks the revamped garden for beautiful views over the landscape. Three new bathrooms, a new kitchen, butler’s pantry and laundry completed the refresher of this sweet cottage.
